Retractable Lanyards Retractable Lanyards can be used in a wide range of work situations where extra mobility is required. Typically the mechanical device is anchored to an approved overhead anchorage to eliminate interference with ladders and vertical work surfaces. Care should be taken to address the "pendulum" or "swing" action of the fall arrest when Retractable Lanyards are in use. All units have a safe work load of 350 pounds. ALL UNITS REQUIRE ANNUAL FACTORY RE-CERTIFICATION.

RETRACTAMAN retractable lanyards, the difference in the units is the type of cover. All have 7 feet of polyester webbing, 48mm (1 7/8" wide), with a 13102 double lock snap sewn on. They have a 13mm (1/2") eye at the top that will accept an appropriate carabiner as shown. We consider these as "RETRACTABLE LANYARDS" with the emphasis on Lanyard. RETRACTAMAN Retractable Lanyards are not Re-Certifiable. They are considered a "soft" good, like a rope or web lanyard. AS SUCH, THEY ARE DESIGNED FOR ONE FALL ARREST, AND ONLY ONE FALL ARREST.
