Waist Belts have a long history
in fall protection, both in fall arrest and fall prevention. It is generally
accepted today that waist belts should be used only in fall prevention;
as part of a tether system, or in worker positioning.
CARE MUST BE TAKEN THAT WAIST BELTS ARE NOT USED IN A MANNER WHERE FALL ARREST IS A POSSIBILITY. |
